Find your special clothes Decide what items you would like to send to me, the most important thing is selecting items of clothing which are sentimental to you and the ones that you really want to treasure. Please bear in mind that thick materials like leather and suede are difficult to work with and thin materials like chiffon are delicate and will affect the durability of your finished bear. Choose your bear Decide which bear you would like me to make from the website. If you would like any personalisation please add that to your order before you checkout. The description will give a guide as to how many items of clothing I would need minimum for your bear. Checkout when ready. Post your items to me I recommend that you send your clothes Royal Mail tracked or tracked with whichever company you choose to use. Make sure you enclose a print out of your order confirmation or a hand written note that includes your name and any specific instructions you would like me to know. Once I receive your clothes I will email you to confirm the clothes have arrived safe. Making the bear Once I have received your clothing I will begin designing your chosen bear. If you have any specific way you would like the clothes placed on the bear, please don’t forget to add a note in with your clothes. All the fabric will be lined with adhesive cotton which will stabilize the fabric and increase its strength. Once complete I will return your keepsake bear to you via EVRI tracked.

To make each memory bear it takes 1-2 items of adult clothing (depending on size) or at least 8 baby grows. A lot of my customers like to incorporate more items in each bear, but you are welcome to use as many as you wish in your bespoke order.

The clothes need to be clean and in a reasonable state. everyone knows clothes get worn over time, however if the clothes have a lot of holes or are severely stained they may be unsuitable for crafting your memory bear. Please keep this in mind when selecting your items to send.

Of course! If you have a request to use a certain clothes in a specific area on the memory bear, please put a note in with your order. I will try my hardest to accommodate your request. If for any reason it is not possible I will contact you and together we'll find the perfect solution for your bear.

Memory bears are intended as keepsake ornamental gifts, not toys. As each bear is bespoke made from your sentimental clothing they cannot be CE safety checked and are not intended for use as a toy. Any purchase of a memory bear from this site is taken as acknowledgement of the fact.

I recommend sending your clothes in a postal bag by Royal Mail signed for or tracked. When you have placed your order you will receive an email confirmation, please either print and pack your confirmation or include a handwritten note with your name and order number with the clothing. Yes, I can send your spare left over fabric / clothing back to you. When you send me your items of clothing please ensure you enclose a note requesting any left-over fabric/clothing to be returned with your memory bear, requests at a later date cannot be guaranteed.

From the date I receive your clothing I will endeavour to create your keepsake within 4 weeks. I will email you to let you know that your clothing has arrived safely and email you again when your memory bear is ready for posting back to you. Your memory bear will be returned to you via EVRI tracked.

If you live within the surrounding area of my workshop, you are more than welcome to collect your bear. Please let me know when ordering that this is your preferred option and we can then arrange a suitable time and date for pick up.
